STEERING COMMITTEE

The CRAF'd Steering Committee is the main governing body of the Fund, offering strategic guidance to achieve the Fund’s objectives and ensuring alignment with UN regulations.

With ten members, it is co-chaired by high-level representatives from the UN and financial contributors.

The composition ensures balance, with members from both UN System entities and financial partners.

Currently, the members of the Steering Committee are:

The CRAF’d Steering Committee is co-chaired by the Under-Secretary-General for Policy in the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General and the Deputy Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations. The Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office also participates as an ex-officio member without voting rights.

  • CRAF’d INVESTS $3.5M IN DATA SETS

    Guided by the decisions of the CRAF’d Steering Committee, together with our partners, we allocated $3.5 million to five data projects. This effort is set to impact up to 110 million lives, embodying our commitment to finance, connect and reimagine data to save lives.

  • OCTOBER STEERING COMMITTEE

    In October 2023, the CRAF'd Steering Committee held its second annual meeting. The committee reiterated support for securing ACLED data as a common good and defined a roadmap for the selection from the recent open call for essential risk datasets.
